Thomas J. Daly Attorney at Law, L.L.C.

What to do if your have been in an automobile or other vehicle accident?

In our experience we process personal injury claims, and damage claims in general,  to conclusion faster than other law firms. And, we do not charge for pursuing the property damage claim as part of the personal  injury claim.

Attorney Daly was previously employed by the Traveler's Insurance Company, Safeco and Hanover Insurance Company and has been representing claimants for the last twenty years.

Unfortunately, under the current state of law, someone who has their older motor vehicle severely damaged or damaged beyond repair will not recover enough to replace that motor vehicle.  Book value, which is the minimal recovery decreed by law, is much lower than the amount of money it would take to go out and buy a replacement motor vehicle.  But there are ways to enhance your chances of getting a higher settlement sum for  your motor vehicle.  Examples include: presenting records of maintenance, records of recent major improvements or upgrades performed on the automobile.  You may also pay an automobile appraiser to prepare a comprehensive appraisal report on your vehicle.

Here is our advice if you are involved in a motor vehicle or other vehicle accident:

Do not speak with anyone except your lawyer about the accident.

Do not sign anything pertaining to your case except whatever may be requested by your attorney.
